Algonquin: This millennial Nation favors fresh game and dried and smoked fish in winter and fresh fish with smoked game in summer. Moose hide clothing, birchbark baskets, beadwork and the tikinagan (traditional baby carrier) are symbols of Algonquin craftsmanship. Algonquin is still a living language today.
