SEASONAL PRODUCT: Quantities are limited according to picking periods.
Taste profile: Inspired by strong northern winds, this herbaceous sage blend offers flavors of sweet, slightly earthy bitterness, enhanced by aromas sweet pepper and hops. The floral contribution of sweet bay completes this refreshing and thirst-quenching boreal cocktail.
Naskapi: Great connoisseurs of a vast boreal territory. Kawawachikamach, meaning "winding river turning into a large lake", is today the only community of the Naskapi Nation. They continue today to assert their traditional know-how through hunting, fishing and the tourist discovery of the tundra and the taiga.
Goose: With its immaculate whiteness, a symbol of purity and sobriety, it also symbolizes endurance and resilience.
Balsam Bayberry: In the kitchen, you will certainly appreciate its aromas of fine herbs and spruce. It can be used in marinades for pork, poultry or wild meat.
The Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach is located northeast of Schefferville, near Lake Matemace, in the Côte-Nord administrative region on the border with Newfoundland and Labrador. The community only has road access part of the year and must use other transportation to get to the nearest service center.
