Homemade fries recipe made with The Warrior Blends Fries Seasoning.
Par / ByChef Peter
Ingrédients / Ingredients
-
4 large potatoes (Yukon Gold preferred)
-
3 tbsp olive oil
-
3 tbsp (40 g) The Warrior Blends Fries Seasoning
-
1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions/ Directions
Cut the potatoes into fries about 1/2 inch thick.
Place the fries in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil.
Once the water boils, remove from heat, drain the fries and plunge them into cold water to cool completely. Drain again and pat dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss the fries with the cornstarch. Add the olive oil and The Warrior Blends Fries Seasoning.
Spread the fries on a baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through cooking.
Note
Chef’s Tips: For air fryer cooking, cook the fries at 400°F for 15 to 18 minutes, shaking a few times during cooking.
For deep fryer cooking, use a high-heat oil such as canola or peanut oil. Heat the oil to 350°F and fry the potatoes for about 5 to 7 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve with a spicy mayo made with the Tomahawk Blend from The Warrior Blends for even more flavour!
