Sumac Vinegar (fruit)

The Vinegar Plant (or Vinegar Sumac / Sumac amaranth / Rhus typhina) is a dioecious plant whose flowers occur during the summer in the form of flowers arranged in greenish panicles . The fruits are small, flattened red drupes covered with hairs. It gives a slightly vinegary citrus taste to the infusions and dishes in which it is used.
