Staghorn Sumac (or Sumac Amaranthe / Rhus typhina) is a dioecious plant whose flowering takes place during the summer in the form of flowers arranged in greenish panicles . The fruits are small, flattened red drupes covered with hairs. It gives a slightly vinegary citrus taste to infusions and the dishes in which it is used.
