🦞 Three butters perfect for seafood... and more!
Add a delicious touch to your grilled fish, shrimp, scallops or lobster with these three simple recipes for flavored butters, easy to prepare and rich in flavor. Prepare them in advance and keep them in the freezer to always have a little extra on hand that makes all the difference.
🧈 Micmac butter with boreal herbs
Delicate and fragrant, perfect for white fish, scallops or grilled vegetables.
Ingredients :
- ½ cup (125 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp Micmac Mix (to taste but be careful because it is a seasoning salt!)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- ½ tsp lemon zest
Preparation :

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until the butter is smooth.

Transfer to plastic wrap, roll into a cylinder, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing.
🧈 Spicy Cajun Butter
Ideal for sautéed shrimp, blackened fish or warm oysters.
Ingredients :
- ½ cup (125 g) softened semi-salted butter
- 1 tbsp Cajun Spice
- 1 small clove of garlic, grated
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Optional: a pinch of smoked paprika to accentuate the color
Preparation :

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until you get a nice creamy texture.

Form a roll in plastic wrap or simply transfer to a small airtight container. Refrigerate.
🧈 Spicy Tomahawk Butter
Perfect for heat lovers! Try it on grilled lobster tails or steamed mussels.
Ingredients :
- ½ cup (125 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp Tomahawk Mix (to taste)
- ½ tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (or parsley)
Preparation :

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Roll into a cylinder in plastic wrap or store in a small jar in the refrigerator.
👌 Chef's tip:
For maximum flavor, melt a generous knob of flavored butter directly over the hot seafood just before serving.
