Sea Bacon (Dried Dulse)

Dulse, also known as Sea Bacon, is an edible red seaweed valued for its tender texture, salty taste and nutritional richness. It grows mainly in the cold waters of the North Atlantic and the North Pacific. Ours comes from Gaspésie, Quebec. It is used in a variety of ways in cooking, whether as a healthy snack, an ingredient in dishes or a vegetarian alternative to bacon. Dulse can be eaten raw, dried, or cooked.
